I love testing out new beauty products and the season’s hottest beauty trends. Makeup can be functional, but it’s also a great way to have fun and get inspired! Today’s makeup trend was inspired by the sleek Diet Coke® can and it’s new flavor Diet Coke®Feisty Cherry.
I was at Walgreens picking up some new beauty products and used my fingerprint to determine which flavor suited my mood. There’s the one and only Diet Coke, it got a makeover, but still has the same great taste! Feisty Cherry is just that – feisty with a side of sassy sweetness. Ginger Lime has a crisp flavor. Twisted Mango is a wild tropical fruit taste and Zesty Blood Orange will have you dancing along with your taste buds. Check your mood HERE!
Spring has sprung and violet eyes are blooming. Purple eyeshadows can be a little intimidating, but this look is colorful and soft. Purple eyeshadow compliments all skin tones and eye colors.
To achieve this eyeshadow look you’ll want to start with a creamy eyeshadow base in a nude blush tone. Blend it out evenly all over the lid.
I kept the blush tone more matte and chose a glittery purple eyeshadow for the crease. Lightly blend the shadow in the outer 1/3 of the eyelid and into the center of the crease.
To give it a stronger pop of purple line both the top and bottom lids with a deep purple liner. I like to smudge the bottom liner out with the same shadow as the crease using a pencil brush.
Finish the purple eyeshadow look with your favorite mascara.
Red glitter lips are still a great look for spring, but try a red glitter eye
Strong liner makes a statement. Try a liquid liner with a little hint of green.
