I love living near the beach. I know I take it for granted. It’s my favorite place to be despite my love-hate relationship with sand. Sand in my shoes, in my car, in the girl’s hair and diapers. I like a nice quiet morning sitting on the beach, drinking a coffee, watching the dolphins dance and play. A late morning or early evening stroll. You can’t beat a sunset sweat session running along the shore. The girls love the beach as much as I do. Mostly for chasing the seagulls and collecting shells. There is something so tranquil about the sound of the waves and the smell of the salt.

Whenever I am feeling stressed or overwhelmed I like to head down to the pier and just sit in the warm sun and let the calm take over. When you’re at home with two littles, it’s not always an option though. They don’t find the beach as relaxing. Recently I was introduced to Touchpoints. I am a big believer in the power of energy healing. Breathing, meditation, and holistic approaches. These are wearable neuroscience that helps balance the energy in your body by wearing one on each side. They can be worn on the wrist or on a clip. The wristlet isn’t that fashionable, but don’t panic, you only wear them for about 10 minutes to get your energy back on track.

The little clips are perfect for kiddos in the morning before school, or in the evening before bed. I’m not a big fan of turning to medication first. I try to manage our daily health using probiotics, supplements, water, exercise, diet, essential oils, and chiropractics. Western medicine is amazing and necessary, however, in my experience, it’s also over prescribed. I feel so much better each day, balancing the kids, housework, relationships, and my blog with these Touchpoints! Ever since I had my girlies I’ve suffered from mom-brain. It’s a totally real thing. Many days I can manage it with a supplement, but now I haven’t had to. I’ve been able to focus better on a task, finish my thoughts and be more present. My sleep has been more restful and my patience has been more abundant, which those of us with toddlers know is a HUGE necessity. You can read more about the amazing benefits of these Touchpoints HERE.
