I always think of that scene in The Holiday, Arthu I always think of that scene in The Holiday, Arthur tells Iris, there’s a leading lady and a best friend, he’s confused because she’s the leading lady, yet she’s behaving like the best friend, then Iris responds by saying her therapist of three years never explained anything to her that well. We should all be the Leading Lady in our own life 🤍✨ When the world around us feels heavy and bleak it’s so important to remember that our outlook controls our response. That our mindfulness practices prepare our nervous system to respond. That small actions of resistance add up to big change. Being the Main Character takes pause, reflection, and aligned actions. I’m willing to bet there’s a lot of women here not being the Main Character of their life. Your soul is yearning for something… DO IT! Create the things. Take the leap. Write your own story… the one we were given is crap! Thinking now isn’t the time because of the crumbling systems around us is just your fear making excuses. Show up now as the person you want to be when we rebuild these systems to support us. Why aren’t you your own leading lady?
