Binkie Bites: Valentine Popcorn Balls

Cora is loving being my sous chef in the kitchen and so am I! Some of her favorite treats are popcorn and marshmallows so I thought I’d blow her mind and put the two together. DISCLAIMER: These are extremely easy to make!

To make these popcorn balls you need 3 ingredients

  • Popcorn
  • Marshmallows
  • Sprinkles

Pop your popcorn, we used microwave popcorn, the kettle corn flavor. Microwave a hand full of marshmallows for 30 seconds in a glass bowl. I recommend using any kind of grease on your hands to assist in preventing marshmallows from super sticking to your fingers. Get messy! Pour the popcorn in with the mallows and roll into balls. We poured out a mixture of valentines sprinkles on plate and rolled the balls in it to decorate. If I did it again I’d probably use a bowl to be able to get the sprinkles into the crevasses for more sprinkles, because there should always be more sprinkles!!!

That’s it! Easiest treat ever. You could even mix in some chocolate chips of any kind with the marshmallows if you want even more flavor.

I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart…

These. Look. Amazing! I usually get intimated by the idea making treats with my little kids, but this looks so sweet and definitely doable. I already know my children will love these and I’m excited for Valentine’s Day <3

I used to make popcorn balls with my mom when I was a little girl and loved them! I’ve never made them with my daughters…but I’m going to give them a try!
