It’s the great quarantine of 2020. Almost every mom is now a stay-at-home mom or a work-from-home mom trying to homeschool their kids. Cora is in Kindergarten, so I consider myself extremely lucky that I don’t have 3 school-aged kids trying to do virtual learning. My children love to craft. It’s one of our favorite things to do together. If you’re not the crafty type or are looking for other ideas to keep busy during quarantine we have a whole list of over 50 ideas to keep busy here.
I love to explore new, fun and creative ideas on Pinterest for my kids. I don’t know about you but I get sucked into the rabbit hole every time! Hours can go by before I realize how long I’ve been scrolling kid activities. You’d be shocked at how many things you can make out of paper plates, recycled toilet paper rolls, and egg cartons! By the time I’m done on Pinterest I’m deciding on a new kitchen backsplash, and have found 8 new hobbies I’ll never master.

I spend a lot of my time on Instagram as an “influencer”. Naturally, I’ve found some really amazing moms that love to craft with their kiddos and share them one Instagram square at a time. Most of these crafts are super simple using household items. I’m the kind of mom that needs the craft to entertain the children longer than it took me to set up and clean up. Feel me!?
