Without fail, anxiety always tags along on our tra Without fail, anxiety always tags along on our travels.  20-30 minutes is all it takes for all the thoughts of things I forgot to pack, confirm, or arrange. The mental load of a family of 5 can be all consuming sometimes. Things are bound to fall through the cracks.
.
Something I’ve learned as a mom is that what can feel like failure can often lead to opportunities. Some of my most prominent memories of life are when things went wrong or I was in a situation with someone where we had to “make it work”.
.
When we’re forced to think outside the box because we left an item behind, it can often lead to creative and silly innovations.
.
When you forget to schedule something at home you may need to rely on a neighbor or friend providing an opportunity to deepen the relationship.
.
Outside the box thinking and not taking yourself too seriously can lead to stepping outside the norm. When we allow space for failure we create opportunities for fun and more specifically memories.
.
Memories are often made when we do something out of the constructs of our day-to-day. It’s because something was so abnormal about it that makes it memorable.
.
Instead of saying “one day you’ll laugh about this”… laugh about it today!
.
It’s only day one of our 3 day drive and…
I forgot a blanket for Bruce.
Bexley wasn’t wearing shoes and I had to unpack the whole trunk to get them out at our first restroom stop.
I packed the special features DVD of Turning Red.
We waited to get outside Denver to make a Starbucks run, only to learn there were none for over 325 miles and when we tried to stop other places for coffee that didn’t work out either… lol

I had a completely different caption that got deleted in the original posting process and I got mad so waited a day to re-write.

Trauma is free and accessible AND abundant. I know Trauma is free and accessible AND abundant. I know many humans thinking they’re walking around without trauma because they haven’t experienced any of the big T traumas. If you have an ailment or dis-ease in your body, friend… you’ve got trauma.
.
Trauma is nothing to be embarrassed of. We all have it, unfortunately. If you’ve ever had a negative thought about yourself or someone else, that thought is a roadmap to the “traumatic” experience that shaped that response.
.
Same with ailments or dis-ease in your body. EVERY physical issue is a symptom of something emotional. Every. Single. One. #yourbodyspeaksyourmind is a great book that has really helped me narrow down to the root causes of what my body is struggling with. It’s been a while since I checked in and this morning I was once again, not surprised by what I found there.
.
I’ve been working on a very deeply rooted limited belief for a while now. I know my last round went deeper and some new stuff has popped up emotionally and physically. It was a little discouraging at first, it felt like I should be getting better - not worse. Honestly, I’m exhausted from both the physical symptoms and the emotional work. As I thought about it, the deeper I go, the more emotional energy that needs to be released. It makes sense that I might have some additional physical ailments until I work through it enough to balance out. That toxicity has to go somewhere…
.
I highly recommend finding a resource to explore the emotional issue behind your physical symptoms. I absolutely believe some of our illnesses need modern medicine if they are severe enough. Some of these issues could be passed down from family trauma or even past lives. Some people get really sick because it’s the experience they are here to have this lifetime. No matter what is causing you to feel sick, there is an energetic way to assist you in feeling better.
.
If you’ve tried everything to help your skin, lose weight, migraines, or have a autoimmune issue, etc… get curious… ask your body what it’s trying to tell you. Acknowledging it and working through it will not only help heal the body, it will also clear out space to manifest your dreams even faster. 
.

Listen to that as many times as you need to. . You Listen to that as many times as you need to.

You are worthy in your weakest moments.

You are worthy when you make mistakes.
.
You are worthy in ALL WAYS… always.
.
Healing is not getting rid of anything. Healing is learning to exist as both/and.

I’m a great mom and I still loose my sh*t.

I’m a great mom and our house is a mess.
.
I’m a good friend and I I don’t always want to be social.
.
I’m a good person and I get triggered by a stranger.
.
I’m me and I’m aware when I’m not being the best version of myself.
.
I love all the camaraderie here about how hard it is to be a mom. While it’s perfectly okay, and necessary, to remind each other that we’re all going through the same things, it’s important to not get stuck there. Laughter is a great way to relieve stress and anxiety, and knowing you’re not alone is quite literally priceless. But…. what you put your energy into multiplies. So, if you don’t want to continue to feel that way, make sure you’re finding people who are also building you up. Reminding you, it’s ok to have a bad day, but not all days have to be bad. We have to be present, we have to know there ARE moms on the other side. Moms who embrace the imperfect and flow… not the chaos and frustration. I’m working really hard at being one of those moms. Being one of those moms that is here to constantly remind you- you’re doing great and it CAN be better.

I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but t I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but this hit different… Peace, is the result of retraining your mind to process life AS IT IS, not as you think it SHOULD BE.

As aware of my control issues as I am I still struggle with letting our days unfold.
.
I still find myself getting flustered when they need me while I’m trying to do the dishes.
.
I get annoyed when it takes them “too long” to fall asleep at night.
.
I get hard on myself when I don’t get my to-do list done.
.
I don’t subscribe to #hotmessmom culture anymore. As I’ve been more conscious of my thoughts and how they directly impact my experience I reframe and remind myself that my number one priority is to be their mom.
.
My husband said this to me when my oldest was a baby and it’s stuck with me ever since. My priority is to be their mom. To go with the flow and to be a guide. I can’t do that if I’m too busy trying to control. As we enter this next phase of life I am even more committed to letting them lead. Creating a space a stay grounded and present to share this life with them, as it is. #mymamahood #motherhoodjourney

You can think all the positive thoughts in the world, until you make peace with the FACT that whatever is meant for you (whatever your self worth is aligned with) will absolutely come to you. In the quickest easiest way (so be careful what you wish for).

A manifestation I’ve been working on for over a year has been delivered in a most unexpected way, yet it completely makes sense. I’ll share more on that later, but know, you are worthy of whatever you desire! Start a gratefulness practice and see what starts to unfold. This small shift in your routine will allow you to see all the ways you are already supported. Once you’ve seen for yourself how your small manifestations come you’ll be able to manifest the bigger ones. Let the Universe guide you and you will always have peace and strength in knowing you are exactly where the Universe needs you to be in order to receive.

When we exercise our freedom of choice to feed the greed, jealousy, hurt inside us, we are revealing our ego to ourselves. We are experiencing human-ness and shining a light on where we need healing. Healing is a never ending relationship with our soul and human. A constant dance with the Universe and physical realm. We will remain a work in progress.

Feeling our feelings. Healing our wounds. Breaking generational cycles. Learning to exist and thrive while lugging around our trauma. These are the ways we can be present and make the most aligned choices for progress, growth, abundance, and freedom. No matter where you are on this journey with your energetic being, whatever you choose the Universe will meet you.

The belief that you should think positively all da The belief that you should think positively all day, every day is TOXIC! You are a human. This human existence is to experience the entire realm of human emotions. The goal isn’t to never feel negative or low vibrations, the goal is harmony.
.
Sometimes emotional responses that are considered negative are only negative in certain situations or when they take over. Otherwise, they can be empowered or life saving. They are necessary on this journey.
.
While positive thoughts are often made out to be the answer to all problems, it just isn’t that simple. If you’re trying to manifest something it’s about the feeling behind the want/need that is important. You can envision anything you want but until you feel worthy of it, it won’t materialize. The feeling, the vibrational resonation is what really matters.
.
So the next time you have a negative thought or feeling, honor it, and learn from it. If it’s not empowering or protecting you from physical harm, evaluate it and let it pass. Like cloud watching- it should float on by… ☁️✨

Oh man! People pleasing is such a hard one to brea Oh man! People pleasing is such a hard one to break! This trauma response is so complicated because it’s more than a lack of boundaries. Wanting to be nice and genuinely helpful can turn the corner really quickly into unhealthy behaviors. This comes up a lot for me, especially because my giving love language is “acts of service”. I’m often humbled when people see me as a safe and reliable enough person to ask for assistance, and because I know asking for assistance is hard for so many I’m always ready to problem solve. If I can’t help, I will find someone who can.
.
The biggest key to knowing if you are helping or people pleasing is how you feel about it. If it’s causing stress or frustration because you’ve obligated yourself to do it, that’s probably people pleasing. Helping others from a place of love will feel expansive, even if what they need help with is a tough problem or lots of work/energy.
.
I’m a stay-at-home mom and I’ve designed my life to be flexible so I can be present with my children. I help at school, and volunteer in the community. I often find that I will overextend myself because, in my head, I believe others see me and think I don’t work, I have plenty of free time. While that’s not always the reality of what people see, it’s a version I often try to fit the mold for. I will often move my schedule around, cancel my appointments, to be at the ready when needed. This backfires every time. It puts me back into the narratives I have the hardest time breaking. “I don’t have enough time” and “people don’t listen to me (I don’t feel seen)”.
.
I’ve recently received a ping from Spirit that seemed so odd at first. After a little soul searching I realized it’s a few of my manifestations coming to fruition- not at all how I envisioned, lol. This manifestation realized not only gives me all the things I’ve been desiring it also releases me from all obligations! #lifeissogood #peoplepleaserproblems
