Two weeks of consistent naps and peaceful nights. Two weeks of consistent naps and peaceful nights. This shift was so needed for us both. I can now enjoy that sweet little hand pulling my face to his without anxiety and with pure soul connection. I can breathe him in with the joy of watching him grow and the sadness of him growing so quickly. He is my safe place and I am his. My Bruce❣️

It’s time to get up close and personal. February It’s time to get up close and personal. February 1st is the Energetic New Year so a symbolic day to share about my personal energetic shift. Whether you’re new to my community or a long time follower, I’m so glad you’re here! I’ve grown and changed a lot as a woman, mom, and creator recently and it’s new and raw and scary, while also exciting and revitalizing. I started my blog to inspire moms, and remind myself, that when you look better, you feel better, and you do better! Something I’ll always live by. As I’ve opened up my life to the world of social media these past 6 years we’ve been on a real life journey together that has now taken a pretty big turn.
.
I’ve shared everything from beauty and fashion, to all things motherhood, including my loss and struggles with PPA & prenatal depression. These past 2 years have been the most challenging in my life as I faced my trauma and demons, providing me with opportunity for growth. It’s been a difficult thing figuring out who I am now when I’ve been trying so hard to continue to be the girl who created this persona. I’m still not 100% sure what parts to fully shed and what ones to mold. I took a hiatus to spend intentional time with my girls while we’re home due to the pandemic. I’ve done a lot of soul searching and inner child healing. While I’ve been bonding with baby and tending to house projects I’ve come to realize it is time to make a shift in these tiny squares too. That feels very scary, but I’m here to create real conversations about elevating our collective. My love and passion for makeup and fashion are still a big part of me, but I will be sharing more vulnerable sides of my heart and soul’s journey. My search for healing lead me into an expansive community of wellness and wonders. Our physical wellness cannot flourish if it’s not supported by our energetic/spiritual self. So, I cannot authentically share my heart and soul without acknowledging the necessary role of the Universe/God. We are energetic/spiritual beings, experiencing a human existence on Earth. Let’s explore the
#infinitepossibilities we have available together! #manifestyourlife
Dr. King said, “Love is the most durable power i Dr. King said,
“Love is the most durable power in the world.”
I believe that to be true. And what is so incredible about this power is that it is completely democratized power. It is available to every single one of us no matter who we are, where we come from, or what we have been through.
That is all.

I now understand it’s not enough to be an ally by being accepting and loving to my friends of color. I need to be part of the Anti-Racism growth in our Country. Since I use this platform to support the works of Dr. Martin Luther King and the BLM movement I feel transparency is needed on what I am doing in my life as many post for show. I hope sharing this gives some of you that don’t know where to start some ideas.
✊🏿 I’ve joined a local school district parent/teacher study group taking the incredible @rachel.cargle workshop #dothework
✊🏾I donate regularly to the @aclu_nationwide and to our local food bank
✊🏾I have looked to add more people of color to the places I shop, the books I read, the movies I watch, and articles I share
✊🏽Our @jlfortcollins is regularly discussing ways we can attract and cultivate a more diverse group of volunteers, and organizations we work with in our community.
✊🏽I’m the PTA secretary for our school and will carry over what I learn from these organizations to our diversity committee.
✊🏽I am in multiple Facebook groups of moms learning together how to discuss the things going on in our community and how to take action.
✊🏻I continue to listen. I believe listening is our second greatest power in this growth. Listening with love, to our friends of color and their experiences and how they want our support. Listening to those who still support a system of oppression and white supremacy to better understand what keeps there.
I will be sharing links and more resources in my stories today.
When the sunbeams strike like lightning ⚡️Oh! When the sunbeams strike like lightning ⚡️Oh! It feels so good. A few messages divinely delivered and humbly received while on a walk with the kids the other day.

☀️Be still and let my day unfold itself
☀️Be still and set ZERO
EXPECTATIONS
☀️Be still and feel where your attention needs to go
☀️Be still and ground yourself
☀️Be still and be present
.
The sun shone its light on me with pure transparency. BE STILL. Don’t just lower my expectations, erase them. No more goals, no more plans. Reset my mind, body, soul connection and just be. Stop looking for the connection, BE the connection. All the sunshiney day, feel good vibes. A few days later and I can still feel the warmth of the sun in my heart.
I feel so seen 👀 Most days call for both around I feel so seen 👀 Most days call for both around here. Sometimes you just gotta force the big feelings out with something physical before you can be still and come back to present. That’s the beauty of balance. 💫

No New Years resolutions here! A few years ago I c No New Years resolutions here! A few years ago I chose a word for my year instead... I can’t tell you how much I think back and reflect on my word, or look to my word throughout the year to evaluate where I’ve been, where I’m at, and where I’m going. A word can mean something so different at different parts of the year and in different areas of your life. 2020 was a year of Focus for me. 2020 presented us with some serious situations. What my word meant to me in January is not what it meant in March, or November.
FOCUS
On routine 📅
On self care 🧘🏻‍♀️
On parenting each child uniquely🧸
On my role in the community
On manifesting my dream life 🤩
... quickly shifted to
FOCUSING on
Preserving my energy☕️
Mental health🌻
When to use my voice and how🗣
Seeking insight and knowledge to be a better ally☮️
Holding space for people’s grief🙏🏻
Protecting my family from fear💫
Homeschool🖍
Inward, healing my inner child🪞
... and so much more. This year my word is Elevate.
ELEVATE
My relationship with my inner child 🧘🏻‍♀️
My connection to God 📿
My knowledge of the Universe and all its powers 🪐✨
My relationship with my body and mind, and the magic I harness🪄
My relationship with Mother Nature 🌻
My ability to love myself unconditionally❣️
My playfulness and imagination 🧚🏻‍♂️
My vision for my life and our family’s future 🔮
2020 brought clarity on how disconnected we are as humans. From each other. From nature. From ourselves. I believe so strongly that we must each do the work to elevate in some way this year before the collective lessons can be learned. Such an incredible transformation is in store 🦋 What is your word? #Hello2021 #elevateyourself #elevateyourmindset
Seven years ago, today, this incredible spirit mad Seven years ago, today, this incredible spirit made me a mommy. It’s been the most beautiful experience growing alongside her. She teaches me so much about life, love, patience, and self. I’m beyond grateful she chose me to be her mom. She wears her heart on her sleeve. I’m so proud of the little woman she is becoming.
.
Cora is excited to be seven. She has really embraced her role as big sister this year. She is thankful for the virus because she gets to spend more time with mommy as her teacher, and she gets to spend a lot of time with her best buddies (our pod family). She got her own room this year. She loves doing lego, baking, and art. She is taking violin and ballet. She wants to be a rock star when she grows up, playing an electric guitar. She loves Harry Potter and Wonder Woman.
.
Cora, never forget your magic. I love you more than all the stars in the sky. Happy seventh birthday.
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday filled with I hope you all had a wonderful holiday filled with joy and love. I’ve had a long break from Social Media this holiday season. I needed to make space for other priorities. Many days I missed the connection with my mom friends here, but my mindfulness had to be protected. I appreciate all of you that are still here. Thank you to those of you who reached out. Postpartum waves still come and go. Most days are good. I’ve done some serious inner work and found so much spiritual growth. I look forward to sharing more with you soon....
