Whenever we travel I have a tendency to treat our travels as a fashion runway. I figure we’ll be taking pictures and I won’t have to be doing daily house duties so it’s the perfect time to wear all the clothes hanging in my closet with tags still attached. The problem with this habit is it creates a lot of extra baggage. Upon arrival, I quickly realize that my illusions of an Instagram worthy vacation are going to be just another day in the motherhood, just in a different location.
Accessories! I can pull off the same outfit multiple days in a row and just switch up the way I wear the accessories. This season I chose a bodysuit from Boody. It’s an eco-friendly fashion line with the most comfortable pieces. I paired the bodysuit with a lightweight skirt. It takes up zero room in the suitcase and is airy enough to be comfortable in the hot summer day. I used a scarf and jacket as accessories to layer for nights. The scarf can be worn multiple ways to change up the outfit so it looks fresh multiple days in a row. A pair of comfortable statement shoes gives that little extra if you aren’t treking around the sights
