3 Ways to Wear Black in Springtime

When spring and summer come I’m always inspired to break out the colors. My wardrobe, however, is still mostly black and white with a few other neutrals sprinkled in. As a beach mom, I feel silly wearing black in the heat. Luckily there are a few trends this year that make the seasonal transition easy to wear my black.

Gingham

The gingham print is so on trend right now. My favorite pieces are from the Who What Wear Collection at Target!

Cold Shoulder

The cold shoulder trend is a great way to keep a little cooler while out and about in the sunshine wearing black. This is another great Who What Wear for Target find!

Skirts and Dresses

I’m always a fan of skirts and dresses for warmer weather. They are nice and cool and always look put-together with very little effort. They are easy to pack for travel and be dressed up or down for day-to-night.

So glad it resonated with you! I always feel like the black sheep during summer get together’s, but when styled right it doesn’t feel out of place anymore.
