People everywhere will be BBQ-ing and toasting to our nation’s freedom this summer. There isn’t anything more 4th of July than a chocolaty, marshmallowy, s’more! It’s a campfire tradition. No campfire? No problem!  Toddler moms can get a little concerned about munchkins around an open flame, so here are 3 ways to include them in the s’more fun without the danger.

1 || S’mores Dippers

These s’mores dippers are silly simple to make and pack all the flavor and fun of this favorite treat.

What you’ll need:

Break up the graham crackers into the desired shape and dip in the marshmallow spread. Dip the marshmallow in the chocolate chips. Silly simple. Super good!

2 || Marshmallow S’more Pops

These mallow pops are so fun to make. My toddler thought they were the best treat ever! So did the husband.

What you’ll need:

Smash up few graham crackers. Place a few in a sandwich bag and let the kiddos smash into crumbs with a rolling pin and/or a toy hammer. Stick a marshmallow on a straw to serve as mallow pop, but they make great bites too! Dip the top of the marshmallow into the mallow spread, then the flat top into a bowl of chocolate sprinkles. Then roll the sides around in the graham cracker crumbs you made or purchased. Pro Tip: Refrigerate or serve promptly, the marshmallow spread does start to drip.

3 || S’mores Trail Mix

Trail mix is always a hit with our kids and their buddies. Pro Tip: They love when you set up a trail mix bar where they can make it themselves.

What you’ll need:

You can add any variety of things to Trail Mix for more options. Try popcorn, nuts, cereal, pretzels, or other crackers.

Have a fun and safe holiday! Try adding these songs to your playlist.
